ATS Outage mapset

Display outages from the ATS outage system.

Connectivity_Analysis mapset

This mapset contains actions that are useful for diagnosing and troubleshooting various problems. Right now it analyzes connectivity.

Status: alpha

dataVoice mapset

Application designed to work with the latest software from dataVoice, which is web-based. The interface interacts with the dataVoice web server, and also provides a remote-control feature to allow the dataVoice web pages to interact with the Map Viewer.

dataVoice provides IVR, outage management, blink analysis and dispatching functions. The Partner portion allows viewing of points and line sections, dispatched crews, etc. The dataVoice portion also uses remote-control features to zoom to specific outages and refresh the display.

This is a good example of two-way interaction, accessing data from HTTP sources, and general assignment of data to the map via find items.

Note the startup script, that provides a map control socket compatible with the 3.7 MapControlSocket implementation. It actually runs a separate script, scripts/MapControlSocketProcess.bsh. Since startup scripts only run once, this allows you to play with the actual control commands without restarting the map viewer.

Distance mapset

This is a mapset that measures distances on the map, either in two quick points or multiple points for a total distance.

Palm Maps Loader mapset

Copies maps from the Partner Map Viewer to an SD card for use with the Palm Map Viewer.

PDF Snapshot mapset

This mapset provides PDF Printing functionality. You can edit snapshot placement, paper size (up to E-size), scale (using 1:1000 notation).

This mapset provides advanced PDF plotting functionality. You can edit snapshot placement, paper size (up to E-size), scale (using 1:1000 notation).

Porche mapset

This is a mapset that displays outage information from a MilSoft Porche system.

Status: Production

Raster2Tiled mapset

This is a mapset that organizes raster output from Global Mapper into an appropriate raster mapset for use in the Partner Platform.

Status: Beta

Rastrac mapset

Displays vehicle positions from the Rastrac AVL system.

Status: works at one site; needs polishing

Tracing mapset

This is a mapset that generates upstream and downstream traces of electrical or other tree connectivity networks. You need to have a map set with connectivity to do this at all.
